Dying
So, we kicked off this year's festival shenanigans with a trip to The Traverse for the 11am performance of Gary McNair's A Gambler's Guide To Dying and it really was a fine piece of writing. I've seen a few of Gary's works over the years and he's a very likeable performer indeed. A great start to the next three weeks of cultural stuff.
And that was it festival-wise - it's a marathon not a sprint after all! We did make it out later tho', up the road to the local multiplex for a screening of Bring Her Back. Impressive stuff, a lot going on there, plenty of dread and unease.
