Pie and jam.

After our usual visit to Birstall market, I have had a busy day in the kitchen.
The blackberries we picked yesterday have now been turned into bramble jelly, or blackberry and apple pie and the rest frozen.
We have already enjoyed a slice of pie with cream for tea. Yummy!
Will test the jam tomorrow morning when we have it spread on a slice or two of Austrian Power Loaf. Hope it has set properly.

Now back to dead heading and watering.
