Greenock Cut Common Darter Dragonfly

Fairly sure this is a Common Darter Hoverfly on the Greenock Cut near Loch Thom in the hills above Greenock, Inverclyde, Scotland. Mrs C & I walked the 9 miles or so around this aqueduct this afternoon - beautiful weather, and I could easily have blipped a dozen views over the Clyde towards the Highlands. I suspect the weather will be very, very different tomorrow!
