Exhausted

It's a tough life going on holiday isn't it!

Up and out of the cottage by 10.15 this morning - only 15 minutes late but the cleaning crew were already there at 10.10 so a bit of a last minute rush!

Headed down to Kernowsashimi to pick up the fish box we'd ordered - thankfully there was space in the car and I didn't have to have Bill at my feet - then picked up some lunch from Sainsburys. And a great drive home in 4 and a half hours even with the two detours.

Everything's unpacked, first load of washing is on, James has bagged up and frozen all the fish (crabmeat, pollack, sole, plaice, monkfish, mackerel and morghies - we've no idea what the morghies are so will have to call tomorrow and ask - they look quite hideous though!) and I've quickly blipped Bill as he snored on the sofa! He really is quite exhausted from being out and about all day each day and from all the walking we've done this last week - he can barely keep his eyes open!

And what a great week it's been. A total break (including from technology as there was virtually zero reception and no internet!) in such a lovely part of the world - even when the weather isn't the best! Though it did mean the camera didn't get out a huge amount and the backblip's will be somewhat repetitive in their subject matter!

A wee relax on the sofa now beckons with roast beef later. Perfect end to our holiday.
