Woodland on Val des Terres

A beautiful day here in Guernsey. Perfect for a bank holiday.
I worked till 1pm and took June to work.
So I headed off to the hill climb.
Every summer race cars and bikes scream up the Val des Terres. It's a winding road coming up from St Peter Port to the higher part of the parish.
It's good to watch. I took a few car photos and got a good multiburst shots of a car spinning at the top.
I could of posted one of them but though this one to be much better.
This is just off the path.
Looking down the photo, the hollow is part of the moat that used to surround Fort George.
It's all grown over now and would not know it is even there.
