Hitting the Wall.

Today I hit the wall photographically. I copped out. Turned chicken. Didn't make the grade. Bought a one way ticket to loser-ville.

I was in North Queensferry at a meeting about the new Forth Crossing - very ineresting to see what the plans are and the expected social and economic impacts.

Afterwards I was in the ideal location to blip. Two bridges at my disposal, the historic towns on North and South Queensferry both on my way home. The whole Forth Estuary was my oyster. I just couldn't do it though. It was all too intimidating. So instead I took a picture of a wall.

I feel like I have so much else on my mind at the moment I'm finding it really hard to get pictures I like, pictures that I feel are adequate. Hopefully that will pass over the next few weeks as my life here settles down a bit...

In the meantime, I'll just keep trying to dredge up a blip each day. One thing I am sure of is that it is better to take mediocre pictures than no pictures. Every time I shoot a frame I learn something either about photography or, like today, about myself.

Off to work now, I was just blipping to fill in time until the bus was due...
