Autumn in the Borders

We were walking in the Scottish Borders today, starting from a farm near Clovenfords, just up from the Tweed Valley. It was distinctly windy, and I ended up feeling as if we had walked a good deal further than the 5 or 6 miles that we actually covered. But as you can see, it was bright and sunny, and the landscape was looking beautiful in its autumn colours.
