City Lights

Edinburgh as viewed from the breakwater at Burntisland, on the River Forth. Sunset was OK tonight but as the sky was mostly clear there wasn't much to photograph. On the other hand, the wind had dropped and the conditions were relatively calm so the view over the river as the light faded was pretty clear. In some of the shots I took from here there are light trails from aircraft heading in to Edinburgh airport, but over to the west there was a small point of light at the edge of some cloud that seemed to be taking a long time to get any closer. Turns out it was Venus and I'm pretty sure it hasn't landed yet!
