But, then again . . . . .

Walking the Dog.

We're back at the curling pond today with this gentleman and his dog. As usual, the weather was parson's egg-ish so, what with trying to keep the camera dry, having it set incorrectly, running to find a suitable vantage point and hurriedly composing the shot, this was not too sharp.
The rescue tactic was to deploy the "Comic" filter in Photoshop, it completely hides a little bit of blur. It is the sort of filter that tempts overuse; but then I suppose that, in the grand scheme of things, it could be regarded as a fault to use the same boring old natural effect every day, it just doesn't feel that way.

I had planned to cycle to a club AGM but, by then, the rain was torrential so it was time to use the car. I try and avoid the politics of cycling, mainly because I have so many other things to do, but we have an issue over the runs leaders' guide-lines. Amongst other gems is the clause suggesting that, by forgetting to bid one's fellow riders "Goodbye" at the end of the ride, one is invalidating the third party insurance. The point that the recommendations are not very clever was made, at great length, and we were assured that the matter would be dealt with - eventually.
