Be There to Believe....

It was a very warm night. I checked the sky while it was still dark. It looked to me like a Nor-West Sky. So I didn't hesitate to dress and leave home with the dogs before 5.30am. I wanted to be sure to catch the sunrise. And so I did. At the beginning of our walk the sky to the east was the most brilliant that I have seen in a long time. Red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning. So we may get a little much needed rain in the next few days. The colours changed second by second in the twinkling of an eye. I had a large number of images to choose from but I like the simplicity of this particular view over to the lower Wither Hills. One just had to be there to believe the beauty of the skies….
