WOT - NO ANGEL?

And it came to pass, on a cold Wednesday afternoon, that Maureen was relaxing in the chair, having had a busy morning at school, when the Angel said unto her, "Fear not, and I do not bring you good tidings of great joy, but I am here to tell you that if you don't get out of that chair and varnish the stable ready to take into school, Christmas will have come and gone before you know it!"

And so it was that Maureen got out of the chair, put on her scruffy clothes, and behold, she did varnish the stable (and herself) which she hoped would find favour with all the children and the teachers in the Reception class at Lawn Primary School.

Sorry if you were expecting to see the completed Angel today, but keep watching, dear blip friends, and you may well see one tomorrow - it is actually finished, but just wanted to keep you waiting a bit longer - it's the anticipation that makes it exciting!!
