Female Red-breasted Merganser (Mergus serrator)

I took pictures of a pair of mergansers before the sky turned that remarkable colour at sunset.
I couldn't not take photos of that brilliant sky but I'm not going to blip one as so many others have already done so.

Instead, I have used one as a filter to overlay the merganser.
