November FEAST

Another fine day for the West Norwood FEAST. This is the eighth FEAST in a row that has been dry. The sun even came out today. Last year, there were only two dry FEASTs and I wore my thermals to most of the markets.

It was a really busy day with lots of great retro and vintage items on show. People sat in the sun and read the Sunday papers. I discovered that there is such a things as a crumb brush (I surely need one of these about my person at all times).

Rosie from To Have and To Hold Vintage kept us entertained with Music Hall classics from the 30s, 40s and 50s. I was in giggles several times with some of the lyrics; they really lifted the spirits. Rosie had to wind the gramophones by hand the whole time. It must have been hard work but she didn't let it show, and she's returning on the 1 December FEAST with a Christmas repertoire.

Alison from Trinkets & Baubles tried yet again to sell the flamenco dress. She needs a tall, slim lady to snap it up. It may be that it returns for the December FEAST.

As always, I ate a fair amount of scrumptious treats from Lovesome Cake.

I can't believe it's the last of the 2013 FEASTs next month. It's been a quick year, but another fabulous one for West Norwood FEAST.
