Gareth Davies-Jones : 9 Lessons

We were invited to a living room gig in Larbert this evening. A solo performance by Gareth based on his album 9 Lessons, and a few tracks from his new album "Now but not yet". He has a beautiful, pure voice, some songs sung unaccompanied, others with guitar or mandolin.

He sang my all time favourite carol "O Come, O Come Emmanuel", and two different arrangements of the Wexford Carol. Another treat was his arrangement of the poem by Alfred, Lord Tennyson "Ring Out, Wild Bells".
