U-Bahn München: 23/100 Georg-Brauchle-Ring

Munich underground: 23/100 Georg-Brauchle-Ring

This station is actually hidden in a hole in the ground again, not like the last "undergound" station at Garching-Hochbrück, which is above ground. Georg-Brauchle-Ring underground station was opened in 2003 and is thus one of the newest stations in the network.

It is definitely one of the most colourful stations in Munich's underground and in that regard similar to the stations at Candidplatz or Dülferstraße, which are rather new as well.

Above ground you can find Munich's highest building Uptown Munich, also known as O2 Tower.

I blipped this station once before (in one of my very firts entries) from a very different angle.
