Country Christmas wrapping

The lane I walk along regularly has lots of little decorations like this - old weathered fence and gate posts, frequently adorned by this ubiquitous rustic fastener, bailer twine. It really needed a little topping of crisp snow, but although it rapidly dropped a few degrees on my walk I don't think we will get snow here before Christmas.
