It's about time I'm up here being admired...

I haven't posted a blip of Dixie Chick in a long time and she is, after all, the queen of the house, and certainly the boss of the two boys.

She is almost 14 years old, a good age for a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I've never owned a dog this smart, and even the people in our agility training class called her the "valedictorian." She's a very steady girl, and that's why she made such a good Therapy Dog. A little long in the tooth for that now, but heck, she is enjoying her retirement. I think she is absolutely beautiful, warts and all. Who could resist this face?

Fog and rain today. Tomorrow is supposed to be gorgeous. Hope you are all having a great weekend. Why oh why can't our weekends last as long as our workweek?
