Uncoiling New Lines

Much of Zihuatanejo is undergoing infrastructure work under the new president (who we in the United States would typically call a mayor). New parks, rebuilt roads, and the underground electrification of Playa La Ropa. They started back in the middle of summer and have been working in fits and starts ever since. Just when you think they are finished, in come the backhoes and holes or trenches are once again dug in the road. Today these workers were uncoiling new pipe to lay underground when I returned from town. It is quite the process to get this PVC pipe to behave, taking multiple guys. I like how they provide some scale to the orange monster they must tame prior to burial.
