Cityglow

An early wake-up today. At 05.00am I got out of bed, got dressed, had a quick breakfast and around 05.50am I picked up two new friends from the Delfzijl-photogroup, for a sunrise-photoshoot at the lake Leekstermeer near Groningen.
We arrived at the scene around 07.00am and started with a hot coffee and cake (thanks Richard for the great catering!)
The sun did rise of course, but mostly behind a thick layer of clouds, so I decided to aim for the glow of the city Groningen on the horizon. That turned out to be a great stand-in for the sun.
It was a great dawnpatrol; my first real one after a long long period. A new start, so what to better to begin with than a good old jetty.
