My topsy-turvy life

Albion 1 Everton 1
Pepe Mel's first game as Albion's new manager so I suppose we shouldn't be too disappointed with just a point from the game. Everton had pretty much the better of the first half and could have been more than 1-0 up. But Albion really went for it in the second half and after they got the equaliser really piled on the pressure for the last 20 minutes. So much so, I was quite glad to hear the final whistle.

When the Baggies scored their equaliser I made sure I remembered to stand up and politely applaud as everyone went a bit mental, boinging around me...yep, I was in with the home fans this season.
I couldn't actually get a ticket in the away end so I took Dad again -well he is an Albion fan- and we sat in the East stand. I thought I did well to keep quiet, especially when Everton scored the first goal...it was hard at times though.

The picture is one of only a few that I took -and even less anywhere near in focus- and is Baggie Bird walking towards the Everton fans, very similar to one of my favourite football shots from last year's game, just from a different angle -and not as good.

I wish they'd speak proper English, I cor understand a werd them seyin.
