So we left the beach having made a home for a blue penguin, and the girls wanted us to stay, but if we're going to get round to Milford Sounds we're going to have to put some miles on the clock. We have stopped in the stunning glacier region, but only to recharge the camper, empty the innards and get showers in a space we can stretch out in. I'd give anything to climb to the to of these snowy mountains, but this isn't that holiday. This is one in which I will get up at 6 tomorrow and start driving before anybody wakes up. We'll be driving most of the day, through so,e tricky terain, and we hope to be in Queenstown by tomorrow eve at the latest.

Such stunning views in this amazing country, we have to pick the eyes off what we choose to cherish. The rest is through the windscreen, with dreams of coming back.

Happy driving.
