Highland Cattle

These cattle are on a smallholding just outside our village. I suspect they are effectively pets, as the owners also have several other unusual animals including alpacas and have previously had something that looked suspiciously like an ostrich. The calf was born towards the end of 2012 but the parents kept it well away from the edge of the field; clearly wary of the paparazzi!
