"Snagging" is not quite strong enough a word for "having to walk the last mile in and retighten almost every spoke at lunchtime as the wheel started waggling dramatically half-way along Melville Drive" but that is what happened. I think I'm being too cautious with this wheel and should make it properly tight rather than fretting about how that last one kept pinging spokes after an overdose of deep pothole in conjunction with overtensioning and cheap spokes. This will be protected by an extra few mm of tyre and a slightly lower pressure, so can probably cope with being not-work-loose-ingly springy.
