A Challenging Subject

Ricky came around for the afternoon to help me sort out some of my camera and computer gear. He took some time out to photograph Amelia Jane, our very pretty dainty little tortie-point Birman cat. She was sitting very prettily on a purple cushion on the back of the sofa. Ricky got some rather pretty shots of her there.
Then Amelia decided she had enough of posing and set out to make things photographically challenging for Ricky. She moved from the purple cushion to Ricky’s knee. Ricky found trying to capture an image of her with a 105 mm macro lens very difficult. He could not get a decent shot.
He finally resorted to using a 60 mm macro lens and managed to get some more cute images…until Amelia had had enough and jumped down from his knee. A challenging subject indeed.
