Daffodils

I love this time of year at home in Ireland.
The emergence of new growth with all the colours is an amazing feat of nature.
This last visit to Malawi I played a track from Dolly Parton called God's colouring book. I felt I got a peek this evening.

From Dolly:

The yellow dandelion
Pretty evergreen
And some red and orange flowers
Growing wild along the stream

As I looked around me
The more that I did look
The more I realized that I was viewing
God's coloring book

Wordsworth was impressed as well:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
