Guide Price £1,850,000

Set in 70 acres of formal gardens and grassland overlooking the Aire Valley between Skipton and Keighley, Kildwick Hall is a Grade II* listed Jacobean manor house built in about 1642 and extended in the fashionable Palladian style in the early 1700s.

In the early 1900s, the hall was the home of the industrialist Sir John Brigg MP, and was converted into a hotel and restuarant in the 1970s (where Mr & Mrs MD dined on a few occasions), before reverting to private ownership some 20 years later.

On the market late 2013 for £1.85m - I don't know if it was sold, but it looked lived in today - and there was a Rolls Royce parked outside :-)

Looks good viewed Large.
