almost there . . .

This afternoon I paddled over to the Boatworks, after doing Nia on the beach this morning. I am trying to fit more exercise into my life! But it was worth it, so much fun to get myself there via my own power, gliding through the water. Plus, my husband Steve has made huge progress on his catboat. I had not seen it for a while . . . here is an entry about it at an earlier state from March 14 and still another from March 21st. Today is April 10? W0w, what a lot of progress he has made, don't you think? And look how proud he is :)

Steve hopes to take his catboat to the Sarasota Sailing Squadron event on the 19th of this month and then of course to the Cedar Key Small boat meet on May 3rd -whoo hoo! Steven made many of the parts for the sailboat that are usually stainless steel out of nautical rope dipped in epoxy; his own invention I believe. I am so proud of him!! The boat looks great. I think he is naming it Crazy Cat!

Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the things you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  ~ Mark Twain
