A morning at the museum

Headed through to the National Museum this morning for it opening (which it did, in light of yesterday's industrial action). The boys had a great time running round all the exhibits - especially the cars and animal exhibits. Although we've been before, they seemed to quite enjoy it today - Logan especially likes his animals and dinosaurs at the moment, his favourite being elephants (and mammoths [due to the Ice Age films]), so we went to see the Mammoth Exhibit too, which Logan loved.

After the museum, we headed to Vittoria on George IV Bridge for some lunch, before heading for a quick wander round the Museum on the Mound, which seemed interesting, but perhaps not oriented towards the boys' age. A visit of a lunch time is in order at some point methinks.

After getting the train back home, I decided to take advantage of the past few days' dry spell and cut the grass for the first time this year. All in all, quite an eventful day!
