Abandoned on Good Friday

We found this cute and absolutely tiny little duckling on the beach at Talisker awaiting the incoming tide if the gulls didn't get it first. It was so helpless! There were no ducks anywhere nearby so Semi-quaver persuaded us that we had to do something.

It is now with the vet in Portree and Semi-quaver is recovering the trauma of the separation.

Mr Q reckons that there can't be many ducks who have had a trip in a motorhome.

Think I'm ready for a glass of wine now.
