Easter Sunday

I hardly slept last night - again. too much late night tablet, methinks.

The Easter bunny had been and left chocolate in the fridge. My case is so much lighter now.

The girls had a swim while the boy caught up with his sleep and then off to Kiara 1 for a dim sum brunch. Too many custard tarts!

We'd decided to stay local today so it was the very interesting and empty Orang Asli museum at Gombut followed by the Batu Caves. Not so many monkeys today and one of them was getting very frustrated trying to open and, I assume, eat a folding umbrella.

We climbed up into the Batu Caves, many, many steps for little legs and 5.5 months pregnant tummy. It was dry when we came down but as we got to the Hindu Temple with the big green monkey the heavens opened, well more than that someone turned a giant hose on. Water rationing is still on here so they need it but we got drenched, well and truly soaked. Didn't stop WH and J having coconut though.

Now home, in dry clothes, documents printed for tomorrow and about to go out for a pizza to bring in. Pizza and a movie (and maybe some Easter chocolate) that's Sunday night.

Tomorrow the next stage of the adventure begins.
