Big wheel keep on turning

Alan here is as much of a wuss as I am when it comes to heights, so I'm guessing his smile is as nervous as it looks.

For myself, I found that taking lots of photographs was a good way to overcome my misgivings about the big wheel. Most of them were no great shakes, but that seems a small price to pay for actually enjoying the ride.

Met up with Al, Karen, Sean and Patrick (as well young Zoe, Al and Karen's grand-niece) at La Favorita, before going to the Winter Wonderland. In the end, we decided discretion was the better part of going on the torchlight procession: it all seemed much bigger and more complicated than last year.
