it's kitty stalking...

who followed this black kitty around - squawking at him - flying at him - trying to protect his nest - (the magpie's, not the kitties) which by the way - was high up in a tree - but i'm assuming - the magpie thought - said kitty - might try to climb the tree - and get to the magpie's recently laid eggs - just a thought - in the meantime - the black kitty - who you might have to look hard for, 'cuz he's not in the greatest focus - he's to the right - attempted to ignore the magpie - yet did turn every now and again - in order to hiss a protest - at the crazy bird - then continued to make his way over the snowy terrain - because - yes, that's snow! we got snow yesterday - again, today - when it's supposed to be springtime - a quick reversion back to winter

finally - the magpie felt the black kitty was far enough away - his nest again secure - one and all could relax in the animal kingdom - there was a great sigh of relief no permanent damage was done between the furry critters - it was enough - to make it...
