Biomorphic Faces.

G's A level show (detail).

This evening it was the Annual GCSE and A level show. It marks the culmination of a period of sustained study for the students and is, for most of them, the first opportunity for them to see their work displayed publicly. As such, it is the busiest event in the departmental calendar with over 200 people, including the mayor and the school governors and supporters, in attendance.

My upper 6th's work (and in person) have featured in a number of blips recently as I wanted to show off some of what they do. This work belongs to G. The portraits are of herself (brown paper, faced pressed against glass) and S (pencil, sellotape distortion). The work above is based on her study of biomorphic forms, hence today's title. I should point out that the studies are each A0 in size.
