Come in number 5!

Up at 5am today as my son's fiancé, Kim, was taking part in a tandem skydive with her friend Emma. We had to be at Sibson Aerodrome in Peterborough for 8am. After the fantastic weather this week, today was overcast and very cloudy. They had to wait for the cloud to clear partly and finally got to complete their jump about 1pm. Poor Kim was terrified before the jump, however, on landing, she wanted to do it all again! This is Kim coming in to land.

They were doing the skydive for an extremely worthy charity - the Noah's Ark Children's Hospice in Barnet. Very proud of them both.

I'm going to be signing off for a while - i've lost my passion at the moment. No doubt it will come back eventually and I may post sporadically in the mean time. I will continue to enjoy your lovely journals and comment on your photos. The Blip community is a fantastic place and i've virtually, and some in person, met some wonderful people.
