Golden day

It's been sunny just about all day and it's been glorious, with lots of interesting things getting done. It seems like a very long time since I was checking my largest catch ever in my moth trap at about 8am. There were six new species for the garden, including this stunning Plain Golden Y - the first moth I saw this morning, clinging to one of the perspex panels. Gold continued to be the theme of the day.
