Impending rain

I got up early this morning in case I received a call for relief teaching work. I didn't.

It was just as well, I had the girls to get ready for school and it would have been a crazy rush to get them to where they needed to be and me to work on time.

So, I did a bit of tidying and took Cousteau and Maggie for a walk instead.

I had a Skype interview for an agency; they are looking for some work for me, which is good.

I'm sure something will come up when the time is right. Then we can look at getting a mortgage.

Dinner is cooking in the oven and the fire is heating the lounge room nicely. It's cozy tonight for a change. Lovely after such a blustery and dreary day.
