Above And Beyond...

No Seat Feat!

Being a nice day the wife suggested we cycle into Cardiff City Centre, along the Taff Trail. We put the cycles in the back of my 4x4 and started off from Tongwynlais, some 8 miles or so. It's pretty flat and scenic and the amount of cyclists, joggers and walkers that use it is staggering and a tribute to Sustran who pioneer cycle routes across the UK.

My camera of choice was my fixed lens Fuji X100s, which I slung around my back ready to catch a blip. I got a fair few today but probably the most interesting was this street entertainer. He was sitting on air! Very impressive and I've enjoyed watching the magician and illusionist, Dynamo, doing likewise.

The wife took some dresses back to Oasis (there was a sale) for a refund of one's she didn't want, that came in the post during the week. Then to boots to buy some special potion (called 7) that cost a fortune what will keep her looking young. It says so, so it must be true!

After a cuppa in the castle grounds, we made our way back to the cycles we'd locked up outside St John's Church. The wheels were still intact, and we cycled back to the car.

Last night we enjoyed a bottle of Umber red wine (Australian) that we both decided was delicious. Googling it stated it was from Tesco's, so we made our way home via two Tesco stores to buy 24 bottles of it. Both stores we emptied their stock. It's £5 or two bottles for £9. Highly recommended for you wino's!
