Hemerocallis ‘Franz Hals’

We were promised rain today. It hasn’t arrived yet, but it has been windy and clouds are filling the sky now. This morning was sunny though, when I was out wandering the garden looking for my Blipfoto of the day. I came upon a glorious bunch of two-toned orange daylilies that positively danced in the sunlight. Since yesterday was an orange theme, thought today might continue the color scheme.

This is an heirloom bi-color daylily named after the painter Franz Hals. The flower was registered in 1955, and introduced in 1957 by Wilmer Flory of Indiana.
