Seaham Tommy

Meet Seaham Tommy.

This sculpture is by Ray Lonsdale. It is a soldier reflecting on the horrors he's seen during World War One.

It was lent to the town of Seaham. He endeared himself to the locals, who named him Tommy and started a collection to buy him.

It's a great sculpture; the detail is fantastic.
