The GOG and the Steelworkers

Today the GOG’s car was due for a service and an MOT so he drove it to Bishops Stortford, with me following to bring him home. Before returning home we had breakfast and bought a few bits and pieces in town.

Victoria came again today and packed quite a lot of china for me. I sent her home early as she has a friend arriving for a sleep-over and the next job I have for her needs to be fnished all in one go; there would not be sufficient time this afternoon for her to complete it.

The steelwork is progressing well and this afternoon the tarpaulin is off the kitchen roof and a new steel section of roof has been put up, although this is still only an interim state; hopefully there will not be any more need for buckets and bowls when it rains heavily.

Today’s picture shows the GOG directing operations!
