Fire & Rescue

Each day I have taken a picture of the fire engines parked outside the fire station on McDuff but another picture has always beaten them to the post of the day.

This morning I stood back a little from the scene and saw the marvelous tree adjacent to the station. The combination of the tree and the fire rescue vehicles worked for me.

If anyone knows what kind of tree it is, please let me know.

One of the problems of moving to the United States is the paucity of my knowledge when it comes to identifying trees, plants, birds and animals. And just as I was becoming familiar with the flora and fauna of Texas, we upped sticks and moved to Florida.
