Early morning walk.

Out good and early this morning in order to get off to Sheffworld in good time to stay with Zanda and Amy.
Ha. Nothing works!
It was 9.30 by the time I left the house!
The plan was to help with some decorating but the sun was shining and it would have been a crime against nature to stay inside when a six mile walk by the river Wye beckoned. It was truly beautiful and must be done again.
We found two fabulously lost Bulgarian women walking down the road, one was brandishing a stick as she was scared due to the lack of people in the area -they live in Wolverhampton and are from Sofia? so lonely roads are not to their liking. They were incredibly funny with such a superb understanding of both our language and our humour... Made us feel quite inadequate. We gave them a lift back to the civilisation that is Tideswell

This evening we concocted scones using Nigella's lemonade recipe.... Very light, tho I thought perhaps lacking in taste just a little. A dash of salt may have helped.
