The iconic 1800's lighthouse at Cape Spear - the Easternmost point in North America - still dominates the site despite the presence of a 'modern' (1950's) lighthouse nearby.

The national historic site was busy today, Canada Day, with dozens of family's strolling the paths and exploring the WWII gun emplacements below. We took a short hike South along the shore via the East Coast trail for some alternate views, a picnic lunch and some late iceberg spotting.

Some minor vignetting and exposure adjustment via Snapseed. There is no f-stop or focal length data recorded below because I used a 28-70mm Tamron lens from my 35mm kit attached to the micro four thirds via an adapter.
