Dead Calm

As the glorious late Summer continues the days of light winds have left the sea as flat calm as I have ever seen it with waves coming onto the shore all of 3 inches high. Where usually there is plenty of noise from the wind and waves at the moment the Solent is eerily silent.

This is a dragged exposure made in an attempt to emphasise the calm conditions.
