An ordinary life....

The Little White Rose...

This little miniature rose bush was given to me by a friend. The flower heads are tiny but so perfectly formed.

I have been so in the mood to take photos outside today but not had a minute. Trying to get all the last minute prep done before Ele and Kenny arrive tonight and Alan and Gail on Saturday. Got a bit of ironing still to do no change there and my online Tesco order and then I can relax.

Preparing myself for a weekend of Ryder Cup fun. We're going out for dinner to a local cafe tomorrow night before heading to the local golf club (not Gleneagles :)) for a night of music and fun (allegedly). Saturday David and Kenny are off to the Ryder Cup then Alan and Gail are coming here at 7.00pm and Gail is bringing dinner with her as her contribution to the weekend. Fab! :))

On Sunday we will all be up early for the final day of the tournament and watching it from home. Bacon rolls will get the day started nicely. By the time we get to the chicken curry in the evening, we will hopefully be celebrating a European win!

No rest on Monday as D and I are off to see James Taylor at the SSE Hydro. Really looking forward to that.

And on Tuesday I plan to go no further than the sofa!

Alan is off out for a walk down the town with Ed at the mo. They are on a mission to seek out Americans in shorts. The place was full of them this morning, despite a strong, cold wind and black skies. It's a bit brighter now.

Apparently Barak Obama is flying in. Nice of him to find the time between arranging bombing missions.
