Baking in Tongue

Every time we come up north, we have one day where we head west along the coast road and visit places where our family used to live and the cemetery at Torrisdale, which overlooks the most beautiful sandy bay.

We stopped off at Tongue and had lunch overlooking Ben Loyal in one direction and Castle Varich (in the photo) in the other. Granddad used to work as a baker in Tongue and we've got a photo of him leaning against the bakehouse wall. I took a photo of Mum doing the same thing today and it'll be fun to compare them when we get back home.
