We were supposed to be catching up with a load of garden jobs today however after a promising start it all went a bit wrong. First the strimmer refused to keep running and then the tractor refused to start. I took the hint and got the chainsaw out.

Because our house and garden were unloved for so long we have big job on to sort out our trees. To that end Alex the tree surgeon came over on Friday so we could work out the next load of tree work. We've identified what needs doing and so I made a start on the smaller stuff. Most satisfying.

So I had a pile of trees and 10 internal doors that we changed last week, Bonfire! Alas the rain came down so my plans were thwarted.

The rest of the afternoon was spent getting annoyed with Garage Band. Deeply frustrating.
