“Probably we will play till the candles burn down”

The musicians who make up Arifa originate from different countries and bring into the intimate darkness multiple influences and instruments, including a mesmerisingly versatile home-made tenor clarinet. In the sort of flickering light that has accompanied most music through most of history (and that makes photography very difficult!) there were, perhaps, 40 of us listening this evening. Lucky us.
