Surfers at Playa del hombre

Somewhat disappointing weather today, especially in the afternoon when, as you can see from my blip, it was quite gloomy. The morning was a little better, and the temperatures were still warm, so we sat and relaxed and read by the pool and went for a swim. After lunch in the poolside cafe, we drove up the coast a bit and went for a walk between Salinetas and Playa del Hombre. We passed a couple of small beaches, but they were black sand beaches, and deserted, so that contributed to the gloominess. Play del Hombre, however, is popular with surfers, and there were quite a number of them in the water waiting for the right wave. After watching them for a while we decided it was time to turn around and head back to the hotel. For dinner tonight we went to a little fish restaurant just the other side of the marina, which was excellent.
