Egg, Salt & Pepper

Firstly, thank-you to everyone who sent my blip from yesterday to the spotlight pages, a very rare treat for me I'm chuffed.

The story of today's blip starts last week during my business trip to the south of France. Our Customer laid on the most magnificent four-course packed lunch which came in a cardboard box about 14 inches square and just than 2 inches deep. Having opened one end we slid out a cardboard tray with recesses for each of the courses together with wooded cutlery, a miniature bottle of vinaigrette and these diddy little salt and pepper pots. I couldn't resist the blip opportunity so didn't use them for my lunch!

Anyway the first course was a tuna salad, followed by a beautiful salmon fillet with mixed (cold) vegetables and a white sauce, a selection of 4 scrummy mini-desserts and cheese to finish, all accompanied by a crusty roll and butter. Sadly no wine allowed during 'works time'. Probably the best business packed lunch I've had to date. Bon appetit indeed.
